Re: Applying holes to Box bottoms???

Damon... certainly you can create parts the same size and modify them...even accurately lining it up on the machine isn't that difficult - we build jigs and hold downs for various parts to machine after being cut out from sheet goods. This is all good (although certainly not as efficent) as long as ...

Sounds like the perfect job for a 17 year old...gotta love what you do! We've always encouraged our kids to explore all avenues...I spent 15 years working with my father - but I spent almost 10 years on my own first before I recognized how I could compliment my dad. I've always felt it was important...

Maybe our two can work out an act together.... :P Joey is \"interested\" sometimes...but most of the time he would rather be at home. He did just turn 15 and is beginning to drive, that seemed to be about the time his big brother decided work wasn't all that bad! Which btw - my oldest, Jos...

FYI - for anybody wanting to cut this pattern it is designed for 1/2\" material. The pattern listed on Thermwood's site (which I can't access either) calls for 3/4\" material - which is what we loaded - Also, there is a problem with radius compensation on the last deer body. Happy H...

We leave a 1/4\" between doors and drawer heads...the idea is to pull the butt doors together as close as possible so they create the look of a single panel, but still allow for them to move seasonally and not bind. No one wants to be able to see into the cabinet between the doors...years ago w...

Mike we build face frame cabinets as well...1/4\" reveals are what we use - but we only leave 1/8\" between butt cabinet doors. If you use a good adjustable hinge you will find 1/8\" works best between butt door openings.

Hey Damon... it is a whole new learning curve...but everybody here will help you work through it! For domestic VCP one side we use .725 - set it up in your material list and account for it accordingly with your construction settings. The change material thickness has too many problems to chance cutt...

Terry,

I don't build frameless, but I would guess if you left the back off you would simply add doors to the back side of the cabinet, just as you would the faceframe

Terry, To add doors to the backside of an upper or lower cabinet - select \"no back\" in the settings of your cabinet and add another cabinet the same size. On this cabinet remove all parts except for the face frame. You can then rotate the face frame 180° and align it to the back of your ...
