George,
How did you get into my house to get some of those pictures? LOL! I think my favorite is the fan in the bathroom. Very funny.

Re: Kitchen Acc
George,
Nice tops. Beveled laminate edge, my favorite. They really look sharp. I will put that type of top in my next kitchen at home. We are planning on buying soon so it shouldn't be long.

Waterborne Finishes
Can anyone tell me about a waterborne pre-cat lacquer and wiping stain that is good to use? I am doing a 'green' job and thought this would be best for it. I don't want to cross any boundaries on this forum so if it is ok please respond. I don't know if Thermwood works with any companies on this. If...

Re: Why can't I nest the back of this?
Michael, You will need to place the size of the molding you want on the cabinet and then click on it and take it into the parts editor and use a tool to put an edge on it. Then return with a save. I made this one, which is what I think you are looking to do. Watch the videos the have to do with the ...

Re: Why can't I nest the back of this?
Michael, I had no problem nesting the job. Rick mentioned your collar value, mine is set at .12". If your are using a router then you will need to use the advice of someone who has one. I don't have a router but the settings still need to be correct for me to nest as a reference. Also, to add t...

Re: Cabinet Finish
Gary, We use Sherwood Mahogany mostly on cherry. We also use Sherwin Williams Rich Mahogany alot on cherry. These two seem to be the most requested by customers. All our stains are wiping stains. We try to not spray stain because we have not had much luck with it. We can't seem to get it to look con...

Re: Cabinet Finish
Alan, One other thing, we don't have any problem with blotching on maple or cherry. Maple will, sometimes, have minor blotching but seems to not be a problem most of time. Alder stains and sprays out real nice. Cherry usually holds the best stain and finish in our shop. The only real problem we have...

Re: Cabinet Finish
Alan, I don't have the experience as most of the guys on this forum but I will tell you what I use. I prefer Sherwin Williams stain as well as Valspar stain. I like to use Pre-Cat Lacquer in my shop. The shop where I work full-time uses the same stains as well as dye stains from Valspar. They also u...

Wally,
Thanks. Duh, I didn't even think of that. This should be available for purchase on their website, correct? I can't get it through ecabs, right?

Guys,
Thanks. This will help a lot. I was not finding anything but did not look where you did. This will give my customer some choices.

Frank Lloyd Wright
Does anyone know where I can get crown molding that is just plain straight rather than the traditional curvy molding? I am going a kitchen that is along the Frank Lloyd Wright design. Everything is either straight or angled. There are no curves at all in the house. So, anyone ever use this type or k...

Mirrored Pillar
I am needing to design a 4 sided mirrored pillar. Designing it is easy, building it will be a different story. I have been told about mirrored plastic. Has anyone worked with this before? It will need to have adjustable shelves which is why I am not using glass mirror. Any experience information wou...

Brent,
Sorry for the bad advice. I totally missed the email thing. I had to do that once myself. I just missed it.
Rick,
Thanks for covering for me with the proper advice.
