Hey Every one,
Is any one up and running production on mdf doors with profiles? If so what are your experiences and do you think it cost effective.
Thanks for your time,
Mike

Hey Jason, I dont usually finish my drawings to the max like some do. I usually get what the customer needs and what I need to get the router. If this would be good enough I could put something together if no one else, or not enough others offer. How much time do I have? I am working 7 long days a w...

Hi Jason, yes, so far what I have tried to add is the same material that the job is using, I have used the drop down menu to pick the mat. description and then enter the size. this works or seems to work, but when I nest it only seems to use one of the sheet sizes and not multiples. These are sheets ...

nesting added sheets

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble using added sheets in nesting, seems like I can only enter 1 sheet per nest, is this correct or am I missing something(I HOPE)?
I can add more than one sheet, but when it nests, it only takes 1 to use.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Mark,
I had one tool holder dropping tools and I had to adjust the depth that the spindle dropped to insert the tool in to the tool holder when it was finished with the tool, only about .030. Cured my problem.

Hey Dan, I seen this earlier but did not reply because I could not help directly. I know that when I was in Art-cam training at Thermwood there were some books in the office that had thousands of carving's in it. Some one had compiled these drawings and written code for them I beleive. Contact Lee B...

Hey Rob, Ya I resisted the plywood also, But I will tell you, I can honestly say I like them now. The baltic birch multiply does not stick out like thicker veeneer and when rounded over you really have to look to see it is plywood from up-top. Plus with solid maple and ash that we also use, I have r...

Hey Rob, I have actually glued up soft maple blanks 37\" w. run them through wide belt to .625 and then cut dovetail's-works, but really kills the productivity. We are cutting 5/8\" baltic birch and then filling, sanding, rounding over, and spraying after assembly, makes a pretty nice drawer...

Hi Guys, Along this same line of thought, there is a small snag in nesting dovetail drawer parts with the rest of the job. If you have your sq. in setting smaller than your largest drawer part, it will cut through before cutting the female dovetail with the 3/8 dovetail bit, as you can imagine, this...

Thats a trick question Mike! I use prefinished domestic plywood interiors, cuts nice enough, and is beutiful. On the other hand you will get an occasional warped pc that will give you a problem or 2. Melamine on the other hand is flatter, cuts beutiful, holds a very sharp edge(ouch) and edgebands nic...
