Re: Tool Selection
Hi Stephane, Unfortunately dado operations cannot be turned into a pocket. You will have to choose a tool that is at least half the width of the dado operation. If you are machining from a .dxf file, you have the option to rename the layer "pocket" instead of "dado". Hope this he...

Re: scallop and valances
Brandon,
You could do this in the part editor.
You can generate the geometry in the part editor, or in your favorite CAD program, then overlay a .dxf file onto a part.

Re: Monitor going bad
Forrest,
I had a flat panel hooked up to mine a while back when I was testing things to see where the problem was. Worked just fine.

Recut ID not working
Suddenly, the recut part ID field in CN is telling me that what I'm typing in is too long.
Is this a known issue?
Any simple resolutions?

Re: Shelf Editor Problems
The cabinet was corrupted somehow, so I removed the face frames, then put them back on. Not sure how your doors were applied, but you can try this as a base to add them back if you like.
Hope this helps,

I meant slimfix, not minifix. You're right Forrest, the minifix requires horizontal boring.

Re: Cut centre doors
Neville, The Yuna and Tampa doors are technically possible to make with ecabinets but I think you would be much better off with a different program that is set up to handle it well. You could design toolpaths to be modelled, and constrain the heck out of them, but the beads on the panel would take q...

Re: KD fasteners and tooling
Gerry, you might need the minifix instead, I think the "regular" rafix connectors might be only for 19mm material, but you would have to check that out if you haven't already. I have had success with both fasteners.

Forrest, thank you I never had a need for it but it's great to know the bit is readily available if we come across a situation that warrants it!

Re: drawer Slide Pattern
Well you have to determine which euro screw you're using and let that determine the exact depth of the hole. The point is that you should never have to go into the part editor to get a hardware hole pattern on a partition or a cabinet side. If the pattern is applied to both sides of a partition and ...

Re: KD fasteners and tooling
We don't use the flush connectors at all. The chamfer would be a problem in machining - it would likely warrant a custom tool to do those drill operations in one drop if there were enough of them. Just my opinion
