Sorry to hear about your injuries guys.... I hate to admit that I did it too......even after the recent discussions about shop safety, and the pics of Dales terrible injury......about 5 weeks ago, I was making some small wooden drawer pulls on the router table. I was in a hurry, of course, not using...

Basement bar design and finished project

Well, almost finished.....the owner is hanging the bar lights himself and only had 1 hung when I took these pics. This is a mahagony bar in the basement of a lake house. Not seen is the pool table in front of the bar. I also did all of the paneling and trimwork for this job a few years ago. At that ...

Thanks Joe. I know what you mean by too many parts. The unit I just built had over 600 short pieces for the single bottle racks. It took more time to mill the parts than it took to build it........

Joe Would you mind telling me how you drew the gridwork for the single bottles in the upper cabinets. I just built a wine cellar, actually phase one of a 3 part cellar, and because we were on a real tight schedule, I couldn't take the time to figure out how to draw the single bottle racks. I used eC...

I had the same problem about a year ago trying to bevel the edge on a right stile of a corner cabinet. The left stile was no problem, but I couldn't make the cut on the right stile. I brought it up on the forum, but I guess it never got noticed by the programers. Obviously, still not working...

Gene I only build faceframe, and I use side to side stretchers, except on a sink base. I fasten all faceframes with pocket screws. Most of the time I finish the FF before I attach it to the cabinet box. I like side to side because I think it makes a stronger box. If for some reason I can't use pocke...

That's a good looking vanity, Joe. The finish on the quilted maple looks excellent....nice shimmer. Don't know what to tell you on the pulls, just a matter of personal taste, I guess.....I'd ask the wife. :)

Hey Brian I havn't made any, but we had an island once that had bean drawers. The drawer front was typical 5 pc. with a plexiglass panel. The drawer sides were attached to the front with a half blind dovetail joint, the sides being inset 1/2\" to hide the slides. Approximately 1-1 1/4 inch behi...

Kevin Gratwick Welcome to eCabinets. The answer to your question is yes, you can add pilasters with eCabinets. You create them as display cubes and associate them to your cabinet. You can also apply your mouldings around the pilasters. You can take the pilasters to the parts editor and add a mouldin...

Nice work Damon ! I would try to convince the homeowner to raise that ugly light fixture, or change it altogether.. :) It distracts from your beautiful cabinetry.

Hey Lamar
That is an interesting concept. What are they putting under it. Looks like some data jacks on the wall......maybe a desk ? What did you have to pay for that cabinet lift.... :)

Yeah Dan.....I know what you mean by no refuge. My shop is a steel building with no air except in the office. I'm working 5:30 to 1:30 during this heat.......that's my refuge.
