Making angle cuts

Postby Greg Haw » Mon, Jul 30 2012, 12:24AM

I am trying to make a cabinet that has one side angled at 15 degrees. I am using one cabine with 3 sides cutting the ends of the top and deck at 15 degrees in part editor,or at least trying. Is thgere away to make a pricise 15 degree cut? Closest I have come is 14 degrees. Also need to bevel the 4th side, coming from a seperate cabinet, at 15 degrees. Also haveing hard time making a tool with presice 15 degree angle to make those bevels. Is there away to do this? Greg

Can you sketch something on paper and post a picture. It will be easier to interpret.

and as to the 4th side??
Thanks

Ok I attached thew cabinet in a jpeg so you can see I hope what I am doing. What I am asking is,How do make the Profile cut and the Part Editor cuts exactly 15 degrees or make any certain angle for that matter. 45 degrees you can make a square then bisect the corners. But say you want. 43 degrees, or 25 degrees in Part Editor Is there a way to do this?

Hi Greg
In the contour section of the part editor, right click angle snap a couple of times to select and deselect. There you can put in the angle you would like.
I hope this makes sense.
