I have a cabinet that has a right side applied end. The right stile has an inset of 7/8" to account for the thickness of the applied end. When placing the crown, it is placed at the plane of the cabinet end, not the applied end. Is there a trick to getting it placed in the correct location?

Re: Moldings with applied ends
Did you associate the end panel to the cabinet?

The cabinet with the crown on it now copy and paste. Now you have two of the same cabinet
Now delete everything but the crown on the one cabinet all you will see is just crown it is still a cabinet and you can resize the crown.I keep the top on that cabinet i will make it 1/16" T. That way I can lock it to the other cabinet

Re: Moldings with applied ends
Bob,
I am guessing that you are adding "Cabinet Ends" (a door) to your cabinets in Custom Layout for an applied end.
With an outside scribe you will have to place the molding manually in the cab editor not the molding editor to position it properly.
I use a face frame with panel for my end panels which is a cabinet so I can add the molding to it and I then leave that piece of molding off the first cabinet.
