New Intel processors & SSD drives V6 performance

Post by Neville Bastian »

I know the Version 6 of Ecabinets is getting close to being out of Beta but there hasn't been much discussion from the Thermwood programmers if the computer specifications will be updated soon?
There have been some new chip developments from Intel and the SSD drives are being accepted as increasing data retrieval and writing at about twice the average hard drive. There have been some advances in graphic cards as well. Is there going to be a recommended system to make version 6 fly?

There was talk by Ken of advances in the software that Thermwood licenses. What has been the improvements that has been beneficial for Ecabinets?

I think a few Ecabinets users have been waiting for the recession to lessen before upgrading their computers. Maybe version 6 release will be the reason we need.
