Upon installing V6 Build 2 I find that my hardware database has not been brought forward.
I had to re-enter all my hardware several times during beta testing and do not want to do it again.
Hopefully I can back out of build 2 and come back to it when it is fixed. It is way too much work to re-enter all my hardware, vendor and distributor info.

Kerry...
Virtually all my setting etc were carried forward, but like you I lost the hardware. Unlike you, I had only a small number inV6 b1 and will go forward. Hopefully will be fixed before next version. I was luck to get the last of my V5.2 cabinets cut yesterday. Forward with V6!

Re: Terrible problem with Hardware data base
Bryan,
I had thought of that but I think I will also have to replace the eCabinets.mdb because I also lost all my materials and my doors show the missing image yellow so there must be a problem with the materials files and my irfanview .exe disappeared again (happened in beta testing also) so there seems to be a lot to fix.
I will look at it again tomorrow and everything will be OK.

Kerry,
Where do you find those files?
or are they what backing up creates?
