5.2 Build 7 confusion

Post by Sue Landes »

OK, so 5.2 expired today and I tried to update with Build 7 because we just aren't ready to take on 6.0 yet. Called support earlier and they said to go to the bottom of the software page and download Build 7. Did that and went thru all of the steps and still get the error message saying that 5.2 expired today and that I need to call eCabinets. Can someone please help? I am in the middle of a cabinet job that is on a deadline. :wall:

I did not have ecabs running when I tried to install the update. I go through all of the steps to install and it says that everything is ok but when I go to open ecabs I get the message that says that 5.2 is expired and I have to contact ecabs @ 877-880-4638.

Sue,

I would call Thermwood. It may have something to do with the fact Build 6 had expired before you tried to install Build 7 to extend the expiration.

REMEMBER! If you are running on Vista or Windows 7 that you MUST run the update with the "Run as Administrator..." option.

I am not sure if this is applicable in you instance as no mention of your operating system was made.
