Slow printing from line drawing editor

Post by Casey Jones »

I am having all kinds of trouble printing from the line drawing editor in version 6.2. I have spent the whole weekend trying to print out 10 drawings when I should have been in the shop building this stuff the whole time. Tomorrow morning employees are going to show up and have nothing to work off of. Usually the program locks up when it is spooling the drawings to the printer. When I do manage to get something to print it takes at least 15 minutes for one page. Never had any of these problems in v5. Is anyone else having these problems and is there a solution in the works. Back to the drawing board (literally).

Casey,

Yes we are all having this problem.

You can either Screen shot the line drawings and print those.

Or you could send me the job with all drawings and I'll send you a PDF back.

Just email me your job

Thanks Bryan, the screenshot idea worked well enough to get us through the day. I don't want to bother you for PDFs if I don't have to. Hope Thermwood has this worked out soon. If you can get the drawings to print they look much better than on previous versions. How do they look when converted to PDF?
