What Operating System Do You Use?

Postby Dean Fehribach » Thu, Jul 15 2010, 10:44AM

I am curious to see what operating systems seem to be prevalent with the forum community. Our developers have begun migrating to Windows 7 for their development PC's. If you're using a Macintosh or Linux, answer what O/S is running in the virtual machine or Boot Camp; not the host OS version.

This poll will only run until the end of July so get your answer in as soon as you can.

Hi Dean,
We are currently running windows xp, and good old vista. Shouldn't we all be heading for windows 7? Eventually..

Ok, I'm confused. Is bump a technical term?

The thread had fallen down the list so it was "bumped" back up to the top.

B.U.M.P actually stands for Binary Universal Metaphysical Paradigm. It is a complex piece of code used to magically move a forum thread to the top of a page.
BUMP should only be attempted by authorized professional IT personnel.

It is amazing how a simple word can create such chatter.

Dean
What is the purpose of the survey?
Should we or should we not? Be heading toward Windows 7 as we purchase new systems
