Another software request

Post by Michael S Murray »

I would like to be able to name a display panel, or for that matter even a display cube, but mostly a panel.
Room for a description of work to be performed on the panel would also be great.

Mike,

You can name a display panel with User Part Name
I don't know how many characters you can use for a description

Mike,

Just select your panel, right click and choose User Part Name and a dialog will pop up.

Ok Kerry, I give..
I am in custom layout, i go to dispaly panel, I creat a display panel, width, height and material.
At this point I have no choice to name it.
I place it in room and then highlight, right click, and there is no option for user part name?
Am I missing it?

Kerry, I know what your saying now, yes it can still be done in cabinet editor, but I want to be able to do it on the fly, while in room layout.
