eCab will not open getting errors

Post by Steve Detina »

This morning when I tried to open up my eCab I received the following errors.

LocalStore.mdb file cannot be found.

Then when I click ok i get the following error.

disk or network error.

eCab then opens and the logo stays on top and eCab will not allow me to do anything.

anyone have this problem before.

Thanks in advance

Steve,

Run the latest install again and choose the repair option, then try to launch eCabSys again.

If you are running a virus protection software (and most, if not all of you do...), set it to exclude the AppData path and the UserData path and also the ecabinets.exe file, if it allows exclusions at that level.

The AppData path to exclude is:
For XP:---------- { C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Thermwood }
For Vista/Win7: { C:\Users\ProgramData\Thermwood }

The default UserData path to exclude is (if you changed it, then use what you have set instead):
For XP:-----------{ C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\(shared)Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems }
For Vista/Win7: { C:\Users\Public\(public)Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems }
Regards,
