sheet stock face frames ??

Post by Kenneth Rychlik »

I have an inexpensive laundry room to do and want to use my same prefinished ply for the face frames with a puzzle joint. I can get it to take the 3/4 generic, but the drop down box doesn't allow me to use my other sheet goods for the face frames.

Is there some other type of box I need to check under "define materials" to get the face frame section to "see" it?

Thanks
Kenneth

Kenneth,

What thickness is this sheet stock material defined as in your material database? I assume you have all FF parts set to sheet stock and the frame thickness is set to what you need (related to the material you want to use)... If so, maybe attach a cabinet that has this material for the main carcase and I will see if I get what you are seeing. Also, what dimension format are you in?

Scott. I found out what I was doing that it didn't like.

You have to choose a material thickness at the top that matches the sheet stock you intend to use. I was surprised that it wouldn't take any material and just adjust the cabient like in other areas of ecabs.

Thanks
Kenneth
