New Build?

Post by Kerry Fullington »

OK, I just have to ask.
Any idea when the new build with the ability to add slide mount holes to backs will be out?
I think Scott swore it would be released by last Christmas. Sure would like to build a CNC Cabinet Library but can't start until this feature is added.

By the way my birthday is just around the corner. :D

Yeah count me in on that. I'd like to swear at the new build like Scott does. Bring it on. Scott seams to have trouble with time. Maybe he is a time lord and flicks around from from one time period to another. Dr Who's cousin. Regards Neville

Oh you mean the build with the ability to add holes to the backs of draw fronts for metal clips. And manually change hinge hole positions. Yeah I can't wait for that. Certainly it must be soon. It's been a long time since updates so surely this must be the reason why.

You mean the one with print to scale capabilities and pilot holes in the dados?????

Seriously, we should be happy that THM is still available for support, does any one else get the auction notices from IRS auctions...

Hey Kerry,
What have you done to Thermwood. No one at Thermwood has responded to your post.
Have you said something mean to Jason? You better whip up a Texas speciality cake and send it over to the office?

Apart from that, hope all is going well and you have that Thermwood humming away.

I saw this in the blog back in April http://blog.thermwood.com/bid/59997/A-R ... d#Comments Perhaps not the drawer problem solved but it seems like the guys are working on some new features which will be available in the next build of eCabinets.

Had a email from Thermwood today with a sneak preview of AWFS. One item was the new joint to be previewed. Does this mean a new build is to be released? Is the new joint the only feature of the new build?
Hopefully someone at Thermwood will reply?

My requests/whinges were made before that though :) It is a nice feature, though, I'm sure we will use it.

Neville,

If you get a copy email it to me so I can have it on Monday a day before you get it on Tuesday.

I need to know what is in Build 7 so I can start a wish list for build 8.

Hi Everyone,

I sent out a mass email late last week to all eCabinet members stating that we will be showing the Lock Dado Joint at the upcoming AWFS show in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I jumped the gun and the new joint is not ready along with some of the other added features in eCabinet Systems. I also don't have a time when the new update will be available either.

Again, sorry for the confusion and I hope to see some of you at the AWFS show.

thanks,
