wall lengths

Post by John Powell »

Hi from oz.
I am having trouble creating a wall of a specific length. I click the screen to start my wall,
I then drag the mouse in the direction required, type a length, press enter and the wall
length goes to were ever i left the mouse, totally ignoring my typed in length. Is this
something i am doing wrong or is it a bug? I would be extremely grateful for any help.
thanks. John.

Hi John,
Just click to start the wall, then click again to end it at any length, after this type the length of the wall and press enter, the wall will change to the desired length.

No. Sorry josh this doesn't work. When i click at the walls length this just leaves a wall drawn at that
length and exits the command. Typing a length has no effect.
Thanks John.

John,
You should be able to change the wall length by selecting the wall, and typing a new wall length over the existing length in the field. I don't know what's missing, but it works ever time for me...
