Line Drawing Editor

Post by Jon Dieterlen »

On one of the jobs i am working on, when I print a line drawing to a PDF file it prints fine, but when I try to print another page, I get a message "invalid argument was encountered" and the look of the drawings change to a more conceptual view.

The view looks like the 2020 drawings where in the plan view you can see all the fronts of the cabinets as if the walls are tilted outwards. This is kinda nice to show customers, if there was a way to control it. Also the dimension lines show up, but no dimensions.

I am using the free version of PDF995 for the printer.

Also, in an unrelated matter, we really need to be able to lock openings.

you may want to check that your printer drivers are up to date.I use Primo PDF and haven't had any problems with dimensions not showing up.Maybe try altering "line enhance" in the LDE before printing.

I don't believe that it is a printer driver problem as the image on the screen is altered, not the PDF file.

Jon,

It would be worth your time to update your default printer drivers. The pdf creator uses a different set of drivers.
