Draw clips and handle holes

Post by jason galbraith »

When I add a draw to a cabinet with the new clip hole drilling function and then add a handle to the draw front with the new drilling functionality, the draw clip holes disappear.

This is a bug and will be fixed in the next release.

Rick, when does Thermwood anticipate a "bug fix release" or patch to be available?

The really sucky part is the blue hole highlights are still there making you think everything is great. I only discovered this by exploding the cabinet. I have a huge commercial job that was batched last week and I thought everything was going to be perfect till now. I also would like to know when we can expect a fix. Can you rush just this part? Forrest, have you found a work-around or do these two features fail to work together?

Since I have these cabinets batched with multiples of each I am going to take the fronts into part editor and place the pull pattern. Forrest

Forest,
I reported this when release first came out. I spent about an hour and half trying to find workaround, but only thing I came up with was part editor.

Hey Everyone, I had a chance to talk to Scott and unfortunately there is no time frame for the fix. They are pretty bummed like the rest of us that it didn't get caught in beta. It was something that happened towards the end of the beta phase because it had worked in the beginning. For now you will have to use part editor. Forrest

Draw clip holes being drilled in relation to internals of cabinet sides rather than the draw box would be a good fix too please...
