Libary upper units

Post by Alex Bowler »

Hi,

I am currently making my own libraries and i am unsure of how to make upper units. I use an upper unit from the Themwood library as my base
and change to my specifications then save. When i am in the custom layout area and import the upper unit that i created it is classed as a base unit.

Is there a specific way i should be saving these units?
Is there a way to specify which units are upper and which ones are base units once they have been created?

If you have used the seed cabinet from the upper units there shouldn't be a problem.
Try going to settings and preferances (icon on the top tool bar) Click on define standard dimensions then check that you have set the upper cabinet mounting height.
Create different folders for your base and upper units as you save them.
I highly recommend subscribing to the online video tutorials , will save you heaps of time and hair pulling :D
