black screen in work area in new eCab installation

Hi all, I have downloaded and installed eCab's on a new computer, gotten the registration code and the program starts up fine...The design area is black, and when I load a cabinet the design area is still black but the cabinet is there...just can't see it. When you hover over it the pop ups will come up describing the part...but you still can't see it. I can't adjust the background...that part of the screen is black. I've repaired, uninstalled, then reinstalled...Any ideas? Anyone else had this problem?

Have a look at the left side and check your screen shade and Gradient --

Sounds like an issue with graphics card settings or maybe the driver. Posting your computer specs may help.

Thanks for the replies...not the screen shade...makes no difference where it is set.

Computer specs are;

Windows 7 Home Prem.
Svc. pack 1
I7 - 3820 CPU @ 3.60 GHz
8 GB Ram
64 bit OS
NVidia GeForce GTX 555
set at 1680 x 1050 pix

Have you tried updating your video card driver from nvidia's website?

Updated driver for video graphics card and that did the trick. Ya'll are awesome...hard to believe how fast I got responses from you. appreciate it.
