Tiled/Streched settings on plywood and doors

Post by Leo Graywacz »

I am getting a very distinct patter on my plywood and sometimes on my doors from the different species of wood. It doesn't seem to matter which species or color I use it is really apparent.

Is there any setting to minimize this effect? On this one it almost looks like tongue and groove boards.

Leo,

One of the problems may be that all the wood textures that are supplied with eCabinet Systems may not be totally "seamless". That is to say that they do not blend or merge nicely with themselves as they sample image is tiled across a part.

You may want to try and create your own seamless wood textures and add them to eCabinet Systems. I have not fully tested it out myself, but the program in the link is free and should be able to provide you with what you are needing.

Wood Workshop - Free Seamless Textures

Let us know if it helps.
