We have successfully cut many pocket screw joints at this point. It works pretty well, especially because we cut almost all of our parts from plywood and cut very little melamine and mdf. A self-piloting pocket screw easily bores through the bottom of the pocket even though there is no pilot hole as there is with a normal pocket boring set up. The parts draw together well and seat nicely. The only draw back is the amount of machine time they take. The pockets sure do not cut quickly. For this reason, we still perform a lot of our pocket boring with our dedicated pocket boring machines. I will use the eCabinet pockets when there are just a few needed & when placement of the pocket is crucial.
Thanks for the new features Thermwood. I am always looking forward to the new releases.
