Build 12 - countertops crash with back splash

Post by tim lucas »

I am having a problem when I add or modify a countertop, if I add a back splash it crashes. Just countertop with or without overhang is ok.

Tim,

Please reproduce the crash, then go to the event viewer and let us know what it says about the error (especially any listed faulting module name).

Tim,

Thanks, I was able to read it just fine. If you have not done so already, please ensure that you have the newest driver installed for your graphics card.

Does it do this with any job, or just one particular job? Can you create a new room and add a standard base framed or frameless and then add a c-top with a splash? If it crashes, at what point does it crash (when you press reset view in the Construct Countertop dialog, when you select OK, when you return to main...)? A list of concise steps would be helpful.

Hi Scott

I just tried a new room with a standard cabinet, then added the counter top with a little overhang, then the back splash - when i clicked ok it crashed.
I started ecabs another room, base, countertop with overhang - no backsplash - clicked ok and its ok - here is a capture of my countertop screen

I checked my driver and it is the newest driver
Strange - i just edited the one without the back splash, when i added the splash - crash when ok clicked
just tried another new one added a left splash - crash on ok
- i had a problem with build 12 nothing would display and had to check double hoops
Hope this helps
Thanks
Tim
