Countertops & Back Panel

Post by Travis Black »

Countertop Recessed - Have a small nite stand cabinet. The countertop(marble) peice will be recessed into the top of the cabinet 3/4". Basically it will be flush with the sides and back. I know I can adjust the overhang to get the slab the correct size, but can not figure out how to recessed it into the top. Maybe this is not possible, or I need to do it a difference way.

Back Panel - On this same small nite stand cabinet, it already contains a back panel, but I would like to add another panel as more of a decorative panel that sits, behind the main cabinet, hangs over the side by mayeb 1/2" and extends above the marble top, 6" to 8". As I stated it's more of a decorative item, but would like to include it in the drawing for the client.

Any help with either of these items, is greatly appreciated.

Travis, can you make the top from a display cube and place manually?
