Display part editor

Post by Al dedenus »

Hi Guys
Haven't used the DPE for a few years, hopefully you can help me out
Downloaded a cad block off the net, changed it to the correct format in AccuTrans, loaded it in the DPE played around with the colours etc and then my problem
I can't save it
I click save, then the dropdown box appears for the directory and name, I click on the drop down (which is blank) so I type in Sample_HSFs and put a name in the correct box but when I press the save button I get all sorts of pop ups
Then took an existing display object to the DPE and tried to save it with the same problem
Have attached a screen shot of the error pop ups that I get (don't know how to open them on this post!
ecabs screen shot.pdf

Would appreciate any help :wall:

Did you try clicking on the brows button?

Yes have tried the brows button and loaded the appropriate folder but still get those same error pop ups
Have tried doing the same thing on my desktop and its working fine
When I click on the save dropdown box it has" Sample_HSFs " in the list but on the laptop its blank
Only have the problem on my laptop
Will try the repair option and see what happens
