Hi Gentlemen,
I am trying, without success, to take a vertical closet panel into the part editor/contour editor, import DXF with line boring and suspension bracket holes, then cut holes using the DXF geometry.
No problem importing the DXF but I am unable to do anything with the geometry.
What must I do to cut through or pocket using an imported circle or other shape for that matter? I couldn't get it to work with a rectangle either.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Re: Part Editor: Importing DXF circles to make holes
Never mind, I see.
For others doing this for first time:
A geometric shape (circle in my case) that is created in part editor uses the cut geometric shape right click option to pocket or cut through.
In this case you select the shape then right click the option.
An imported circle uses the right click option for cutting a closed contour.
In this case you right click first, then select the circle, then click next at the bottom of the screen....
