Importing SKP files

Post by Rick Nagy »

Hi guys,

I have searched and searched here on this topic before asking again. I want to bring in Sketchup models into my drawings. I have the SKP to STL converter, but when I bring the resulting .STL into display part editor to save as .hsf, it is all black, as the textures from Sketchup get lost in conversion. I'm at a loss as to what I am doing wrong. :wall:

Thanks to anyone who has a minute to answer this!

Hi Rick.
Thanks for sending me the skp files. I opened the oven file. Instead of outlining how to convert this model I felt that a video would be a better choice. Click on the link below. If you have any questions please feel free to email or pm me. I hope this helps.
