How to constrain an octagon part.

Post by Scott Marshburn »

I was working on a project yesterday and needed to come up with a formula to plug into constraint manager that would constrain the geometry for an octagon. Well after a lot of head scratching I came up with this calculator in excel to help.
Here is a link to a video that I made on how to make your own.
Although you do not actually need the calculator for the constraints formula all you need is the devisor. But it does show the actual formula to use. So Check it out and let me know what you think.
