Stopping mid job

Post by Tom Peckham »

How can I stop in the middle of a job then start up where I left off.
Say I have a 20 sheet job and only get 12 cut before the end of the day and want to finish the last 8 sheets the next day. How would I do that?
Also how do I stop cutting on a sheet and then resume cutting?

Tom,

In Control Nesting, go to Settings and under Machine Settings check on the Sheet Selection Option. This will then prompt you at the start of each program to select a sheet to start machining on. You will of course have to re-CNC your job to get the program to have the option in it.
