Help with Panelling

Post by Al dedenus »

I am designing an office for a client with built in units and wall panelling
No problems with the units but the panelling is another story
Thought I would use face framed cabinets with back only and size the depth of the cabinet to the thickness of the frame plus the back and use for the panelling
Problem is it needs to have a moulding inside the frames can someone explain how to do this. There will be panelling around windows and the entrance door all various shapes and sizes
He is also thinking of panelling the ceiling
Maybe someone has a moulding similar to the Conestoga CRP161 door mould between the panel and the frame that is re sizable or will constrain when attached to a face frame?? This would work for the wall panels but the ceiling would need to be quite large like a crown mould or am I on the wrong track?
Kerry think I saw a picture somewhere of yours showing ceiling panelling and wainscoting to the walls
Any help would be appreciated :!:
