In my previous post, I gave you guys a workbook that I started on. In the intro video, I asked for any suggestions and/ or feedback. One suggestion was to make it look and act like an actual application. So I am starting a completely new program. You can download that workbook here. https://dl.orangedox.com/H2fsbMP7mMSixNaqY9Then click on the video link and follow along. Please let me know what you think.
My Bad. The link to the workbook seems to be not working. so please try this one. https://dl.orangedox.com/urUWU9BgvFQXUB8fEz
Also here is the link to the video again. Just in case I screwed it up too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcWStIq ... vA&index=1

Hey Guys.
I have started a new video series where I demonstrate how to build an excel workbook to export Items into the batch area. If you use the batch area often you may find this very useful. I will show how to use excel power query AKA get and transform to create a dynamic link to the ecabinets folder in your user data path that can easily be updated when you add a new library or a new cabinet to an existing library.
here is a link to part1 if you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id6tBZK ... vA&index=1

Scott, Have you had trouble with the latest windows updates destroying the functionality of the export function? I have been unable to uninstall the updates that Win 10 automatically performs, and have had to revert to doing manual cutlists again. Just wondering if there are any workarounds for this yet that you know of.

I love your vids, keep up the good work, they make many processes quicker and easier!

Thank you very much.I am running windows8. I found the update that was causing the issue and uninstalled it. then in order to prevent the update from installing again, I turned off auto-updates. and chose the option to download updates but let me choose the ones I wanted to install. However, from my reasurch I have currently have not found a way to turn off auto updates in windows 10. Maby one of the programmers will chime in and help with this.
