Fixed Shelf Locks

Post by Shaun Just »

Hi there,

Maybe a silly question, but is there a way to lock a fixed shelf in place, so when resizing the cabinet, it stays in the same fixed position say from the very bottom of the cabinet or the top of the toe kick position.

An example of a cabinet i use is attached, at the moment when i resize the height of the cabinet, the drawer fronts and doors change size accordingly but i would only like the doors to change size, leaving the drawer fronts below the same fixed size.

Tried doing a stretcher as the shelf, but the opening sizes don't relate to it when going to add doors/drawer fronts.

Any help/ideas would be greatly taken on board.

Thanks in advance,
Shaun
