pocket screws

hey guys, I am in search of the proper way to add pocket screws in ecab to a display panel I have created. any info would me much appreciated thank you

John,

You cannot add pocket screw construction to a display panel. Only cabinet parts will allow a construction method to be added.

Now, with that said, you can take a cabinet and remove all parts but the back and use it as a display panel and get the construction added. I will attach a cabinet that I have applied the pocket screws to all 4 sides of a back for you to uses or review. You can re-size it to whatever dimensions you need and turn off the construction on the joints that you do not wish to have pocket screw applied to. Hope this helps.

Can the Shopbot link cut the pockets for the pocket screws?

Tim, until then you can make a RTA hole pattern that is just a slot and apply it. It will cut it as a dado.
