Part exists but failed to nest
This error seems to happen now and again so I wonder if It is something I'm doing. The error is almost always a drawer part, or multiple parts of the same drawer. Ecabs kicks the error when I nest before writing to CNC, but if I bring the CNC file to the control, it seems to be fine and the part is almost always there and gets cut. I wonder if I am the only one, or if there are others using Ecabs that frequently get this problem. Is it likely me?

Re: Part exists but failed to nest
Stuart,
My only thought is that the "nesting" within eCabinets Systems may not be totally identical with that within the latest versions of Control Nesting. There could be something that was "modified" in the Control Nesting optimization/nesting that was not addressed within the eCabinet Systems Nesting Module.

Re: Part exists but failed to nest
What would cause a part or parts to "fail to nest?" I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is and cannot repeatably replicate it. It is also showing up in my cutlist as an omitted part. I just wish I knew what I was doing wrong and how I can fix it. I don't like gremlins in my machine!

Re: Part exists but failed to nest
Stuart,
I don't know what caused this but it said the parts were in cab #4 so I just took that cabinet into the cab editor opened Construction Settings then exited construction settings to re-build the cabinet. I saved the changes when it returned to the batch and that seemed to have repaired the problem.
