rotating display cube

Post by Mike Lew »

I'm trying to put a laminate wall attached to the side of a cabinet. 24 wide 84 tall 4 deep. I'm having trouble rotating into proper position. Do all the adjustments need to happen in the assembly editor? When wall(cube) is associated to cabinet and both are crosshatched, it wont bring the cube with the cabinet to the editor, yet when in room layout they move together and I can't separate them. Also how do we keep items on the floor, creating this cube put 1/2 of it underground. Is there a default to place all items on the floor? Thanks

I was able to separate in custom layout. When display cube is crosshatched, it not move to assembly/part editor. Other cabinets will.

Another item I'm struggling with is the way items get loaded onto the xyz point and having to move them into correct position. Is there a way to disable that feature? Just want to load a cabinet or panel or cube and snap into position.
