Nesting issue - Need help figuring this out

Post by Donald Thomson »

I've got a situation where eCabs is rotated parts that are not checked that they can be rotated. I've attached a couple of pictures.

The first picture shows what happens when I perform a nest on a Custom Layout of cabinets. The second picture shows when I take that cabinet into CE and perform a nest. In the first picture, the cabinet side is rotated to go cross grain on the plywood. In the second it is laid properly on the sheet going with the grain.

Part #1 on the first picture is the same Part #4 on the second picture from the same cabinet.

I've never seen this before.

What is the grain setting for that material in your materials database? Can you post the job file as well as the cabinet file?
