Calculating Cubic Feet

Post by Daren LaBranche »

Hey guys, anyone know how to get the total cubic feet of a cabinet or batch of cabinets so that I know how much space they'll need in the truck?

Create an spreadsheet with fields for width, depth, and height. Enter all of your cabinets into the spreadsheet.
It would be easy to calculate the volume of each cabinet this way.

I just made one, I'll go ahead and attach it here. One in Excel 2000 format, one in ODS format (works in Open Office)

Change the file extensions from TXT to ODS and XLS, according to the name of the file.

I appreciate you sending me this Jeremy, but I know HOW to calculate cubic feet, I'm looking to see if there's a way to get this info out of eCabs. Possibly a custom spreadsheet that somehow gathers each cabinet's size?
