Deinstall all AV software, disconnect your machine from the internet and dedicate your computer to be your control computer. If you have a bunch of other stuff running on your control computer, it will cause comms problems. Also, if you have everything working on the computer, you don't want Windows constantly updating the OS and possibly destabilizing your computer.

The problem is on the design computer not the control computer. The control computer is just for the shopbot and runs windows 7
Thanks

I use the Windows AV software and have not had a problem on my design computer running Windows 7. SBLink runs fine on the design computer.
