constraint deletes hole

Post by Marcel Thibodeau »

I'm trying to create a pilot hole in the front of my drawer box for attaching drawer fronts. I've got a 5mm hole that is placed 1/2 an inch from the left(and right) of the edge of the drawer box, I'm trying to develop a constraint that will drill the hole in the horizontal center so no matter the height of my drawer box the hole will be in the center. When i try to add formula h/2 it simply deletes my hole.

I just tried it on one of my cabinets and it worked fine. resized the drawer and it re-centered the hole.
can you post what you are working on?

Try using the formula "w/2". The drawer face is rotated 90' in the pic

Marcel, my drawers are done this way too. Its possible you may have a graphics issue. If you rebuild the drawer after making the constraints does the hole show up?

Ian is correct too that it should be w/2.
