Changing grain direction

Post by Carmen Addamo »

Is it possible to change the direction of cabinet backs so if I have a cabinet that is 40" tall and 95" wide I can install the back accordingly so as not to have a seam. I see that I can manipulate the grain direction but doesn't change the width and length specs.

I think you could create a new sheet good that is the size you are looking for. So instead of the length being 96, make it 40. And make the width 95 instead of 48.

Yes you can change the grain. Take the cabinet to the editor click on the back and enter the angle you need. You can change any sheet good the same way - sides , deck top ...
