6.2.3 is no different

Post by Denis L'Heureux »

So I just downloaded version 6.2.3 but it still shows version 6.2.2 and it still gives me the message that it will expire in 4 days.

How did you download the 6.2.3? Through eCabinets, or the ecabinets update page on the website? Can you re-download the 6.2.3 install and rerun it?

I downloaded from the website and the expiry message is gone.
However, on Windows 10, Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer from running.

You can get around this by clicking on More info, then click Run anyway.

There was a problem with the code signing on the install this morning. It was fixed and updated around 1pm CDT. So, any downloads before 1pm would of got that message.

Rick, are you saying we have to download from the website versus do the update from inside eCabs? Not sure why there should be a difference?

I am downloading from the website and just did it again just now. Still showing version 6.2.2 and still showing 4 days remaining.
I can never get it to update through the software.

Denis,
Not to insult your intelligence, but are you running the installer after downloading it? Just wanted to clarify that since you mention downloading a few times, but never mention running the installer.

Can you try uninstalling v6.2.2, then installing v6.2.3?
