Can not open ecabinets

Post by Edward Kowalski »

When I try to open ecabinet systems I get this message DAO Exception Thrown can not open ecabinets The microsoft Jet Database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data
at the same time.

Hi Edward. Try running the repair option for ecabinets in your control panel under add/remove programs.

Thanks Scott Tried that also tried system restore to prior date, uninstall, reinstall, remove all in registry reinstall, i0bit uninstaller, reinstalled seems to be something to do with Ms access data base. Reinstall upgrade to access no luck Hopefully somebody from Thermwood will chime in.
searched forums for DAO found some help but that did not work either

Just fishing here but give this a try. Uninstall eCabinets, then look in C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems for any files ending in .mdb or .ldb. If you see any, delete them. Install eCabinets and give it a try.

If the uninstall removes that directory completly, I'm all wet.
