Feature request Ecabinets

Postby Thomas strembitsky » Wed, Apr 17 2019, 1:06PM

Seeing as everyone else is doing I thought I would ask for something as well.
on the batch editor sidebar under adj, feature could we have a User Part name Button? You could select multiple cabinets and be able to rename multiple cabinet parts simultaneously which would save a lot of clicks. just throwing it out there

This seems like a good idea to me as well, I second the appeal!

As long as we're asking for things, how about being able to change crown molding when in a room for all cabinets. Just a thought.

I have one that has been driving me insane lately.

When you do an operation and you come back to the editor all of your hidden parts show back up. I'm getting to the point of yelling at my computer because every time I do something I have to hide the doors and a few objects over and over again. I might as well just delete them for the time being otherwise I'm going to end up with no hair left. :wall: :wall:

An unfortunate side effect of the software rebuilding a cabinet when your return to main. If you need them out of the way for a bit, select the part, right click choose Phantom Parts, press CTRL+A to select them all, choose the button for Set Selected to Phantom in lower left corner, and click OK. If they are still showing but as red transparent in main, you can right click, hover over Visibility, and then uncheck Show Phantom Parts. They will still exist in other editors, but not be shown in the main screen. Just don't forget to unset them from Phantom Parts or they won't go to CNC.

I'll get requests added to the list.

I gave it a shot and turning it bright transparent red doesn't help much :joker:

I went into the visibility tab and turn show phantom parts off and the parts stayed visible.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. :o
