Missing Button

Postby Troy Hollinshead » Wed, Mar 11 2020, 9:53AM

Did this just happen in the new version of ecabs or is it just me?
When saving a cabinet, the create new folder button is missing. I can only save cabinets to previously created folders.

Thanks

An unfortunate side effect sometimes when bugs are fixed, a new bug is made. We are aware and hopefully will have a fix for next release. In the mean time you can either create the directory in Windows, or before clicking the browse button you can type in the field above the cabinet name and the directory will be created in the same way. This includes using slashes to create subdirectories.

I was really hoping that the button would be back in this update. I use it daily. As a windows user I'm used to it being there.

Unfortunately a workaround could not be developed. If you type a new folder name in the field, when you save, that directory will be created. You don't need to create it in Windows, then go back to eCabinets to use it.
