Anthony

There was a much earlier post with the same issue but I can't remember the solution.

You can try searching the forum for Excel to see if you can find it. I will look also and post the link if I find it.

Here is the link to the whole thread http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3725.

On page three you will find a post by Rolf Bergstrom that has the solution:
Open My Computer or Explorer, whichever you normally use
Select Tools/Folder Options...
Select File Types
Scroll down and select .XLS
Select the Advanced button

You should have a dialog box for Edit File Type and there should be a check box for Confirm open after download. If this box is checked you will get the prompt.

Happy cut listing.

Anthony,
I do not understand your comments. are you saying that you export the file to excel then open the file in excel and there is no data? Or you refering to some screen that you get in e-cabs?

Geo

It is after exporting to Excel there is no option to save the worksheet. This happens when .xls files haven't been set to \"confirm after download\" in Windows Explorer (Windows, not Internet Explorer).

Oh, I guess. It sounds like greek to me but if Anthony understands that's all that's important.
