Dan,
What image do you show in preferences for your 3/4 Generic sheet stock and your 2\" X 3/4\" face frame stock?

The board stock uses image 26 from imported images and sheet stock uses image 46 from imported images.

Mine has always used these images as far as I know.

Mine loads the same way it has for the past year and a half....not in an imported images file but rather in the stock images under \"Red Oak\"

I started to reload the default eCabinets database to reset mine materials but my CD drive is refusing to read anything! Now I'm caught up in troubleshooting the problem, installing new drivers, etc.

Sometime in the past I must have made a change without realizing it...probably by clicking on an \"add material\" from a download.

Okay, here are the generic materials in the \"as-installed\" database.

Banding stock: 1 x 1/8 x 500 Cordovan 15Sheen Sable Glaze
Board Stock: 2 x 3/4 x 96 Red Oak Nutmeg 40 Sheen
Countertop: 96L x 48w x 3/4 Marble Marb12Lt
Sheet Stock: 96L x 48w x 3/8 Red Oak Alpine 40 Sheen
96L x 48w x 3/4 Red Oak Nutmeg 40 Sheen

Obviously I changed them somewhere along the way either purposely (and forgot it) or accidentially through adding materials from downloaded cabinets.

Now I did not actually reinstall the software. I simply extracted eCabinets.mdb from the version 5 installation CD. The installation process might modify these materials or add new ones.

The answer to Peter's original question however, is to change the generic materials colors to these and it will no longer flash and change colors when loading.

As far as I know the only materials used by the standard cabinets are 3/4 sheet stock and 2 x 3/4 board stock.

I do think the installation added materials for drawer boxes though.
