Reload Files

Post by Marvin Pate »

I have loaded eCabinets on a new computer because my old computer quit. I made a backup disk from the old computer previously using the eCabinets backup feature. Can I insert the back up disk in the new computer, select “Restore My Files” and be up and running with my files? Thank you.

You need to copy the files into the backup folder on the new system then do the restore. You can find the folder name by going into \"Backup/Restore Settings\" on the file menu from the new computer.

Make sure that you don't copy the backup folder into the backup folder, just the files and folders that are in the backup folder on your backup disk.
