I'm just starting to play with lights. Is there a way to have multiple lights set to different intensities? I need lights on the ceiling at one setting anf lights under the upper cabinets at another setting. Is this possible?

Yes. Just right mouse click on the individual lights while in presentation view, and adjust accordingly. Each light can have individual intensity.

The best way to find out whether you can do something is to try it

In presentation view, right-click on a light fixture and choose Adjust Light Intensity. This can be done for each light fixture.

Awl bee derned. I had always assumed rendered mode was pretty non-interactive. Just goes to show... If I'm not careful, I just my learn something every day.

Now, am I missing a way to change the height of lights, so I can tuck them under soffits or inside curio cabinets and such?

Yep! In detail room elevation view, select the light you want to move and move it with the mouse.

How do you then change a light to a number other than divisions of ten?
I don't see any way to input a different number?

Brian, use the intensity slider at the bottom then right click the light and click apply the dialog settings.

... or, you can type the intensity value directly into the dialog box, and then as Joe said, right-click the light and choose \"Apply dialog setting\".

To clarify a little more Brian, enter values or use the slider controls from the popup dialog at the bottom of the screen, then right-click on a light and choose \"Apply Dialog Settings\".
