Sides are 1/4\" short at top?

Post by Ted Allen »

Hi,
I have a corner cab from the standard cab library that I have developed.
The sides are supposed to be 30.5 in height. They are showing 1/4\" too short at the top. Face frame is correct at 30.5\".

This corner cab has a full top in it set flush to top of faqce frame but no matter what I do the sides are too short by 1/4\"

Thanks for any help

Hi Ted, I tried to duplicate this problem but can't. Is this a base or wall cab? have you double checked your construction settings in both the main and face frame editors?

they are good. Checked another cab in this library and looked at settings and did the corner cab the same but it comes up 1/4\" short only on the right and left sides.
Cutlist shows it wrong also.

Thanks Greg,

Try putting a 1/4\" into the offsets to compensate, you may need to use a negative 1/4\". Should correct the problem visually and in the nesting.

You might want to post the cabinet so we can see what you changes you have made.

Ted

Would you send me your cabinet to cabinets@thermwood.com so I can take a look at your files?

Here is the files for this cab. All my other cabs I did not have to put offsets for the sides. Why this one?
